Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains how TrinityAPC (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit trinityapc.com, place an order or contact us. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation we are the data controller.

1. Information we collect

  • Identity and contact details — name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, and company or tax details where relevant.
  • Order and payment information — products ordered, order value, payment method and transaction reference. Card details are collected and processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Delivery information — carrier, tracking numbers and customs paperwork such as a commercial invoice.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and cookie identifiers.
  • Communications — emails, WhatsApp or WeChat messages and attachments you send us, including artwork files for custom printing.
  • Marketing preferences — whether you have opted in to newsletters or product updates.

2. Why we use it, and our legal basis (EU / UK)

  • To take and fulfil your order — processing payment, arranging production and delivery, handling returns and warranty claims. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • To meet legal obligations — accounting, tax, customs and product safety records. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
  • To answer your questions and provide after-sales support. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interests.
  • To send marketing messages where you have opted in, or, for existing business contacts, where the law permits. Legal basis: consent, or legitimate interests for business contacts. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To measure and improve the website through analytics cookies, only where you have consented. Legal basis: consent.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with parties that need it to run our business:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders on our behalf.
  • Payment providers, to take payment and prevent fraudulent transactions.
  • Carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers, to deliver your order and clear it through customs.
  • IT, email and analytics providers, to operate our systems and communications.
  • Public authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information, for example customs or tax authorities.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not disclose it for anyone else’s independent marketing without your consent.

4. International transfers

We are based in China, and your information is processed there as well as by service providers in other countries, including the United States. Where information originating in the EEA or the UK is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

5. How long we keep it

  • Order, invoice and customs records: as long as tax, accounting and customs rules require, commonly at least ten years.
  • Customer service conversations: normally up to two years after the matter is closed.
  • Marketing contact details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
  • Website analytics: in aggregated or pseudonymised form, for the period set by our analytics provider.

6. Your rights if you are in the EEA or the UK

You have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased where we have no overriding legal ground to keep it;
  • restrict or object to processing, including processing for direct marketing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email trinityapc@outlook.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

7. Your rights if you are a California resident

A seller of our size may not meet the applicability thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. We apply the same standards to every request anyway. If you are a California resident you can ask us to:

  • know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and retain;
  • receive a copy of that information;
  • have it deleted or corrected;
  • opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including for cross-context behavioural advertising;
  • limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information;
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. To exercise your California rights, email trinityapc@outlook.com or use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We will verify your request before acting on it, and you may use an authorised agent.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the store, for example to keep items in your basket and to complete checkout, together with analytics and marketing cookies where you have consented. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie banner on our site or your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the store from working properly.

9. Children

Our website and products are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restrict internal access to personal information, and require our providers to apply appropriate safeguards. No online service can be completely secure, but we will notify you and the relevant authority of a personal data breach where the law requires it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be announced on this page.
